Sunlight Technosystems is part of Sunlight Group. It was founded in 1998 by Georgios Dokouzgiannis in the village of Pedino near the city of Kilkis, 45 Km north of Thessaloniki, on a privately owned site extending over 39 acres. The total facility itself covers more than 51,000 square meters.
Sunlight Technosystems specializes in the design and manufacturing of molds, machined parts and high precision metal and plastic components, as well as the production of metal cases (trays) for energy storage, suitable for industrial applications. It is a member of Hellenic Manufactures of Defense Materials, certified by TUV Hellas according to EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Nowadays, being competitive in the market, means manufacturing flexibility, keeping in lead times and being delicate and perfect in your products. Sunlight Technosystems is equipped with more than seventeen cnc machines (mills and lathes, of which three mills are simultaneous 5-axis, and four lathes are 8-axis). As far as assembly and maintenance is concerned, six conventional machines are used, as well as two grinding machines and two EDM. Thermoplastics production is achieved through the use of seventeen injection-molding machines. There is also the possibility of strip metal forming and piercing in five forging machines.

Acquisition of Netelco’s business unit
Sunlight Technosystems has acquired the Netelco S.A. business unit that involves the production and sales of metal cases. Netelco is a Greek company, located in Xanthi. It was founded in 2000 and carries 22 years of experience in the manufacturing of metal cases for energy storage, suitable for industrial applications. This acquisition will cover part of Sunlight Group's needs in metal cases for lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, mainly supplying the Group's industrial complex in Xanthi.
